Around the World in 80 Days Rally
Overnight in Billings June 26th, 2000

May 1st, 2000, 42 cars started at London Bridge in England for an Around the World Rally. In viewing the web site, I noticed that North American route would stop in Billings for an overnight on June 26. A quick email toSCRAM -Sports Car Restoration and Motoring North American Rally Master John Bellefleur resulted in our organizing a reception committee and arranging for mechanical repairs that might be required. Below I have listed some site where you can see the car that participated in the event and a site that give a day by day chronicle of this amazing adventure by some of the most interesting and dedicated car enthusiast I have had the privilege of meeting.

For the Billings Stop: Special thanks to Goggles & Duster group for help and to all those who help repair participant's cars. Cars assisted were Austin Healey (brakes). Pontiac Chieftain (starter) Porsche 356 (wheel bearing) Mercedes 190 (drive train). Additional thanks to Rich Koehn and his crew @ Bumper to Bumper and Eric @ E's Rods.
I know I missed someone ... sorry.
